Washington Law Makers looking to get into the Tire Business!

Hold onto your wallets folks, here we go again. A new proposed bill seeks to regulate replacement tires for automobiles. In a nutshell, they are seeking to mandate low rolling resistance tires, in lieu of those currently available. Personally, I believe that they could save a lot more fuel by fixing some of the current traffic woes (like the Washington State Ferry System for example). We have some of the details in the link below. This might be a good time to let your representatives know what you think.

Hit the road and ditch the Ethanol

We have all heard the horror stories of the old rides attacked by the addition of Ethanol to Gasoline. It is fixing to get even worse this fall when they add another 5% to the mix! Often attacking the earlier forms of rubber in Fuel Pumps and causing lots of corrosion in vehicles that sit for long periods. Non Ethanol fuel is available if you know where to look for it. Here is a link to the stations that supply non Ethanol fuel in our state. https://www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=WA
